We are proud to share that the O₂ initiative has signed an agreement with Fruška Gora National Park, securing 448 hectares of land designated for reforestation.
This represents a total of 4,480,000 m²—an area that will soon take on a new role: becoming home to future forests, new ecosystems, and a lasting contribution to nature conservation in Serbia.
Fruška Gora is one of the most significant natural areas in the country. As the oldest national park in Serbia, it serves as a unique biodiversity sanctuary, rich in plant and animal life. It also plays a vital role as a natural air filter and contributes to the microclimate of the wider region.
This is precisely why this partnership carries special importance. Reforestation on Fruška Gora is not just about planting new trees—it is about strengthening natural systems that have an impact far beyond the location itself.
While 448 hectares is an impressive figure, its true value lies in what comes next. Each hectare represents space for new forests to grow—forests that will remain for generations, helping nature regenerate, stabilize, and thrive.
This project enables reforestation to be carried out in a structured, long-term, and transparent way, with clearly defined plots and continuous monitoring over time.
By signing this agreement with Fruška Gora National Park, a strong foundation has been set for future reforestation projects within the O₂ initiative. This marks an important step toward a systematic approach to forest restoration and creates an opportunity for socially responsible companies to become part of an initiative that leaves a real and lasting impact.
There is much work ahead—but also a clear vision of what we aim to build.
Whether you are a small, medium, or large company looking to invest in reforestation and sustainable projects, your decision today creates a lasting impact.
